A Sound Designer and Composer for film and artists' moving image, William studied Sound Art at Glasgow School of Art and Composition at Glasgow University. He has gained extensive experience working in some of Scotland's top post-houses over the last 15 years where he developed expert technical skills in sound editing and mixing. His emphasis is on discussion based collaboration and experimentation, working towards a bespoke sonic identity for each project. He operates a design-led practice from his independent studio in Central Glasgow, and has a strong network of local and international sound editors/mixers to collaborate with. Recent projects include work with BFI, BBC Films, Hulu and Scottish Ballet.
